Mark lives in Ferring and is much inspired by the countryside around him. Returning to painting in 2005, he trained in watercolour with Northbrook College, Brook Studios and the Roy West Watercolour Groups. He works mainly in watercolour, and also in acrylic, oils and pastels. Recently life drawing with the Sussex Road Group, has been a major inspiration.
Painted on St David's day to evoke warm feelings of spring.

The painting measures approximately 40 cms by 50 cms.
Light falling through Venetian blinds makes this a fascinating image.
It measures 50.8 cms by 40.7 cms.
Painted with Conte Hard paste on Windsor paper. The piece measure approximately 25 cms by 30 cms.
